"Lost Words" represent initial exploration of a visual form to convey the reiterated laments of a loved one suffering from progressive dementia. Each effort begins with a sentence written repeatedly in charcoal, becoming progressively obscured by marks suggestive of tangled brush, dense forest, or ceaseless waves.
